Today's theme is steps. I took this picture last August at Pt. Reyes. It was a beautiful day though chilly. We had to walk all the way down these stairs to visit the light house (see the tiny circular building). That was the easy part. The hard part was climbing back up the stairs. Well, at least for me. The kids ran up them! Don't you wish you had that much energy?

I think I am going to be exhausted after visiting all these steps... bless you for walking them.... this many should even wear out the kids!

Yes I do wish I had that young energy again.
I think I would have stayed at the top and enjoyed the view.

Lovely photo. I see the lighthouse in the distance. All those steps would be a great workout. :)

Ah, to be young again and have boundless energy! Looks like a very pretty place, though!

I was surprised that the kids could run up the stairs. They are both on summer swim leagues and had been swimming every day for 6 weeks, not to mention meets every Sat. I think that's what gave them the strength.

I should start swimming every day!

Lots of stairs. Nice view, I'm sure your day was enjoyable, if not a little tiring. Happy weekend.

We went there in November - and it was completely fogged in! I had no idea it looked so beautiful! Here's the link to the post with the "froggy" pictures (as 3yo Katie would have said):

Inverness Pt. Reyes

Enjoy!
