Odds and Ends

Here is some miscellaneous information for you. Maybe ramblings would be a better word.

Did you know:

20 to 30% of Americans have a mental health disorder in any given year.

No one is mentally healthy all the time!

Mental health is not the absence of problems.

One type of Dementia is from too much or over use of prescription medicine.

America's first mental hospital was founded by Benjamin Franklin.

Okay, I'm supposed to be studying for my abnormal psychology exam, but I keep finding other things to do. I was supposed to take this test last Wednesday, but with everything that happened last week, my professor told me not to worry about it that I could take it at a later date. As you know, visiting different blogs, making comments and writing down miscellaneous facts is a lot more entertaining. Well, at least for me. Procrastination! What a wonderful thing! Oops, wait, I'm supposed to be concentrating.

Ian had a good day today. He participated in PE and he had a great day in class. No complaints and no panic attacks. I did find out however that he was telling his Occupational Therapist (O.T.) that he couldn't do movement exercises because he would get sick. I'll have to talk to her about that and Ian too, the little turkey.

All right! Back to studying!

I love procrastination. I should have been studying today or cleaning for my mom's party...so, what did I do? I sewed my valance. I finished my scrapbook from my South Africa Trip.

Glad to hear Ian had a good day. Here's to another one.
