- I'm a mom with two beautiful children. I have a preteen girl and a 9 year old boy with complex medical issues. I have many hats, some setting on the back burner, some worn almost continuously. I believe that moms need "me" time, because if you can't take care of yourself, you can't take care of anyone else!

They just had turtle races on the television from the local festival currently going on too, hehe.
Cute little buggers. I saw a turtle running across the street yesterday in Mom's neighborhood. Little monster was fast...probably because he saw my car coming.
