- I'm a mom with two beautiful children. I have a preteen girl and a 9 year old boy with complex medical issues. I have many hats, some setting on the back burner, some worn almost continuously. I believe that moms need "me" time, because if you can't take care of yourself, you can't take care of anyone else!

That is my dad and my daughter Kristin. They are meeting for the very first time.
