Tackle It Tuesday - The Refrigerator

Tackling the Refrigerator. This is the place that always seems to get covered in pictures, important notices, and coupons. Often I don't even remember the coupons until they have expired or notices of school information until it is too late. That's because they always get buried beneath the pictures the kids like to put up there. I then seem to only notice the pictures. So I decided that I really needed to tackle this project. Here is how our refrigerator looked before I cleaned it up.

There were drawings up there from a year ago, awards from this past summer and pictures from last Christmas. I threw away expired coupons and those that hadn't expired yet I moved on the side where the calendar is. That way, I'll always see them. I put the kids award certificates in their scrapbooks as well as their pictures they drew. Now look at it:

It looks so much better now. I put up a picture that Kristin just made for Girl Scouts and Ian has his reward charts up. The pictures have been organized and the coupons too. What a difference! I can actually see what's up there now!

I can never get a lock on coupons. If I move them to my car and put them in my visor, I forget them there. I can't put them in my purse because there is too much other crap in my purse. Also, I'll reach right around them for the checkbook and forget them in my purse.

I am thinking of pinning them to my baby's shirt because he's right in front of me in the cart, but he'd just eat them...
